Lemsford layby, Marford Road, Lemsford, Herts AL8 7XE
From the A505 (Royston/Baldock) join the A1(M) at junction 9.
Leave the A1(M) at junction 4.
At end of slip road and traffic lights take first road on the left.
At next roundabout take the first left to go under the bridge.
At next roundabout take 3rd exit (B653) towards Wheathampstead/Harpenden.
After 0.8 mile parking is on the left in a large layby (look out for sign P 100yds just before).
Please note that postcode is for Crooked Chimney pub on left past parking in layby.

The walk is approx. 11 miles going through the Brocket Park Estate passing by Brocket Hall
along the Lea Valley to Wheathampsted for coffee, then on to Ayot St. Lawrence for lunch.
The afternoon walk picks up the Ayot Greenway to Ayot Green before returning via Lemsford.
