Please note this walk was originally on the programme from Wimpole on 6 April but has changed to start from Kingston due to a pub closure and the date has changed to 23 March.

Starting from Kingston Village Hall car park, The Green, Kingston CB23 2NL.  From Cambridge or from M11 junction 12 take the A603 Barton Road. You can then either branch right along the B1046, passing through Barton, Comberton and Toft, and turning left down Church Lane to Kingston or follow the A603 until you see a sign to Little and Greater Eversden. Turn right and follow the Harlton Road (changing to Church Street, Kingston Road and Tinker’s Lane) through the Eversdens to Kingston. Kingston Village Hall is on the village green. There are parking spaces for approx. 6-7 cars here. If the spaces have gone, then there are spaces on adjoining roads (Field Road or Rectory Lane).

We will be walking 6 miles in the morning and 5.25 in the afternoon from Kingston, through Eversden Wood, to Great Eversden, stopping for lunch at Wimpole Hall. After lunch we will walk through the Wimpole Estate heading north along the Wimpole Way back to Kingston.

Dogs will need to be on leads throughout!
