DIRECTIONS FOR HAVERHILL TO KEDINGTON WALK  Explorer 210

Park East Town Park car park, Coupals Road, Haverhill, CB9 7UR (TL686447)

Take A1307 from Cambridge to Haverhill.  Take Haverhill bypass (A1017).  Turn left at the 5^th roundabout on the Haverhill bypass (1^st roundabout has a metal sculpture) onto the B1057 to Haverhill.  At the next roundabout take the 2^nd exit straight on still on B1057.  At T junction with A143 turn right onto Sturmer Road and go under bridge.  Take 2^nd turning on left at mini roundabout into Chalkstone Way and at mini roundabout turn right into Coupals Road.  After 50yds turn right (brown sign on left) into East Town Park car park.  There are toilets to the left of the entrance.

Walk leaves car park at 10.00 and quickly leaves Haverhill to visit hamlets and villages and follow part of the Stour Valley path.  Bring packed lunch which may be eaten outside on pub tables provided we buy a drink in the pub.  There are good views and we return to the car park past a nature reserve and along a dismantled railway line into the Park.
