Hatfield Forest Walk:  leader Vivien

Turn off the M11 at the Stansted exit and take the B1256.  Drive just over a mile into Takely;  there’s a marked right turn to Hatfield Forest. The entrance is rather less than a mile on the right. Ignore the car park at this entrance and drive through the forest following the road round turning left at the T junction.  Ignore the next car park on your right and park at the end of the road.  This car park is next to toilets, shop and café.  Display a National Trust sticker in your car for free parking. Otherwise it’s £4.50.  We will meet there at 10.00.
