Take the A603 from Cambridge, through Barton and turn right at sign to Little Eversden and Great Eversden into Harlton Road. Continue for approx. three-quarters of a mile and almost immediately after Bucks Lane, which is on the right, turn right into car park for the recreation ground. There is a recreation ground signpost on the left. The postcode for Bucks Lane is CB23 1HL. If you reach Great Eversden church (on the left) you have gone too far.

The walk starts at 10.00 a.m. and is approx. 7 miles in the morning, going towards Wimpole, returning to the cars to eat packed lunches in the cars or on the recreation ground.

There is a short afternoon walk of a couple of miles around The Eversdens.
