Sunday B Walk from Grafham

Grafham Village Hall Car Park, Van Diemens Way, Grafham, PE28 0BG
Take A14 west including all the new section of the A14 and passing the A1 junction. When the new section joins the old A14, take next junction 20 slip road to Ellington signposted Grafham Water. Turn left into High Street and past church turn left into Grafham Road to Grafham. In Grafham follow road round corner to left with grassy triangle on right and turn immediately left into Brampton Road for Village Hall and Community Shop. Turn left into Van Diemens Way and right into Village Hall car park.
Walk leaves at 10.00 from Village Hall car park. Explorer map 225, 10.6 miles, 6.3 miles a.m. and 4.3 miles p.m. Please bring all food and drink for the day. On recce there was some mud for the first part on the edge of the bio crop. Poles may be useful. After that the walking is on good paths. Due to new car park this walk is being done in reverse so there will be different views.

Additional Information
In line with the requirements for group walks of more than 6 people, as approved by the Ramblers (the national body for walking), everyone coming on the walk must provide the leader with contact details. Please text or phone the leader if you plan to come. Please remember to give your name as part of your text! Your details will be held for 21 days for Covid-19 ‘test and trace’ purposes, then deleted. The maximum number of people allowed on any walk is 30.
No one should come on the walk if you feel even slightly ill. Please make sure that you bring with you a face covering, hand sanitiser and any walking poles you need; no equipment or refreshments can be shared beyond households. In line with government guidelines members are asked to observe ‘social distancing’ on the walk.
