ELY WALK DIRECTIONS 4 July 2021

Park in car park in Barton Road, Ely, CB7 4HZ

Follow A10 to Ely. At Ely, go straight across roundabout into Ely city centre.
Turn right signposted Cathedral, Car Park – Barton Road.
Follow road round and turn left into the Barton Road car park – free parking.  Toilets available.  Meet at the corner of the car park near the public toilets.
Anne will lead an 11 mile walk, leaving Ely at 10.00, following the River Great Ouse for much of the morning. The morning will be 6 miles to Stretham, and the afternoon 5 miles via Little Thetford back to Ely.
Bring packed lunch and all refreshments for the day.

Additional Information

In line with the requirements for group walks of more than 6 people, as approved by the Ramblers (the national body for walking), everyone coming on the walk must provide the leader with contact details. Please text or phone the leader if you plan to come. Please remember to give your name as part of your text! Your details will be held for 21 days for Covid-19 ‘test and trace’ purposes, then deleted. The maximum number of people allowed on any walk is 30.

No one should come on the walk if you feel even slightly ill. Please make sure that you bring with you a face covering, hand sanitiser and any walking poles you need; no equipment or refreshments can be shared beyond households. In line with government guidelines members are asked to observe ‘social distancing’ on the walk.
