Henham Road (roadside parking), Elsenham, CM22 6DG
From Cambridge take A1307 then A11 to Stump Cross. Take B1383 through Littlebury and Newport. After Newport take 2nd turn on left to Elsenham (and Henham). Keep straight on to Elsenham (do not turn left for Henham) In Elsenham go across level crossing round to left on Station Road to roundabout. Turn left along High Street. After passing Crown pub on left (opposite Hall Road), park on left side of Henham Road by red brick wall.
Walk is 11 miles, 7am and 4pm. Sandwiches will be eaten on village green or in church yard opposite pub where we will buy a drink. This is a new walk for Sunday Bs going through a farm open to the public, across a golf course with football golf, to 2 churches, through several woods and along a disused railway line called the Gin and Toffee Line. Paths on recce were good and there are no cross field paths.
