Take A14 west from Cambridge. Come off at Bar Hill exit. At roundabout at top of slip road take exit to Willingham and Earith (B1050). Go through Willingham. At roundabout with A1123 turn left for Earith. In Earith, just past 2nd zebra crossing and hand rail on curb, turn immediately left into car park before red phone box on left. If car park full, block in walkers’ cars at end or leave car park and turn left onto road and take next turning on right (Colne Road). Park in layby on left just past double yellow lines or in Whybrows Lane on left. Meet in car park.
Walk goes via Bluntisham, the RSPB Ouse Fen, past lakes via Needingworth to eat packed lunch in Holywell and have a drink at Ferry Boat Inn. After lunch we will follow part of Ouse Valley Way and river back to Earith.
