Parking is on Green End Road, Comberton, CB23 7DY at the duck pond end of the road near the village hall, just past the crossroads (TL381 564).  Coming from Cambridge, take the A603, turn right after the M11 junction roundabout, to Barton and Comberton. In the centre of Comberton, turn right into Green End at the crossroads.

The walk is about 10.5 miles, slightly longer in the morning than afternoon. We can eat our sandwiches in the garden of the Willow Tree pub, Bourn, hopefully, if necessary, under cover in the smokers’ area, provided we buy a drink. Since they are busy on Sunday with lunches, it’s unlikely we will be able to go inside after eating.
