Take A10 south from Cambridge. After Foxton level crossing look for right turn to Shepreth (do not turn right into Barrington). Drive through Shepreth, over level crossing and, before you get to Barrington, look for sign on right ‘Riverside Walk’. Turn left into car park.

The 11 mile walk goes to Fowlmere via Meldreth, returning via Foxton with The Queen’s Head in Fowlmere for lunchtime drink stop.
