Start of Walk 10am at Waresley and Gransden Wood, Waresley Road, Waresley, Cambs SG19 3RH. OS Map reference TL 256550.
Parking The car park for the walk is at Waresley and Gransden Wood (Wildlife trust) on Waresley Road between Gt. Gransden and Waresley near a small sewage works!
Mileage 10 miles – approximately 6 miles in the morning and 4 in the afternoon.
Lunch Packed lunch and all other refreshments for the day.

Walk Information The walk will go to out to Waresley, and back to the car park area via part of the wood for lunch then round Gt Gransden village and another part of the wood in the afternoon. There are no pubs at a suitable place on the morning section so food and drink are needed.

In line with the requirements for group walks of more than 6 people, as approved by the Ramblers (the national body for walking), everyone coming on the walk must provide the leader with contact details. Please phone the leader if you plan to come. Your details will be held for 21 days for Covid-19 ‘test and trace’ purposes, then deleted.
No one should come on the walk if you feel even slightly ill. Please make sure that you bring with you a face covering, hand sanitiser and any walking poles you need; no equipment or refreshments can be shared beyond households. In line with government guidelines members are asked to observe ‘social distancing’ on the walk.
