Sunday B Fig of 8 Walk from from Eversden

Booking is essential for this walk, which is limited to 12 places, by contacting the leaders, Sue and Roger, on 01223 276773.
Take the A603 from Cambridge, through Barton and turn right at sign to Little Eversden and Great Eversden into Harlton Road. Continue for approx. three-quarters of a mile and almost immediately after Bucks Lane, which is on the right, turn right into car park for the recreation ground. There is a recreation ground signpost on the left. The postcode for Bucks Lane is CB23 1HL. If you reach Great Eversden church (on the left) you have gone too far.
The walk is approx. 8 miles in the morning, returning to the cars to eat packed lunches in the cars or on the recreation ground.
There is a short afternoon walk of a couple of miles.

In line with the requirements for group walks of more than 6 people, as approved by the Ramblers (the national body for walking), everyone coming on the walk must provide the leader with contact details. Please phone the leader if you plan to come. Please remember to give your name and phone number! Your details will be held for 21 days for Covid-19 ‘test and trace’ purposes, then deleted. The maximum number of people allowed on any walk is 30.
No one should come on the walk if you feel even slightly ill. Please make sure that you bring with you a face covering, hand sanitiser and any walking poles you need; no equipment or refreshments can be shared beyond households. In line with government guidelines members are asked to observe ‘social distancing’ on the walk.
