Sunday A walk Newport

Date: 1st August 9.30 start

Length of walk: 16 miles

The start of the walk and parking:
Park in the free car park, behind houses, off Gaces Acre at TL521342, CB11 3RE – this car park is signposted from the High Street. (Or park considerately in residential streets nearby.)

The circular route takes us through the north Essex countryside and arrives in the very attractive village of Thaxted for lunch.

Please text the leader if you plan to come. Please remember to give your name as part of the text! Your details will be held for 21 days for Covid-19 ‘test and trace’ purposes, then deleted.
No one should come on the walk if they feel even slightly ill. Please make sure that you bring with you a face covering, hand sanitiser and any walking poles you need; no equipment or refreshments can be shared beyond households.
