Sun A walk before 90th Anniversary Tea in Townley Memorial Hall Fulbourn

This 13 mile walk will be led by Margaret with an 8.45 car share from Harvey Road. The start of the walk and parking are in the car park at Fulbourn Recreation Ground, Home End, Fulbourn, CB21 5BS, TL 522558.
If coming from Cambridge on the Cambridge Road, pass the traffic calming and the main road bends right at a grassy triangle and then left, becoming Dogget Lane. At the next grassy triangle on a bend turn left into Home End. The entrance to the Recreation Ground and Townley Memorial Hall is on the right.
Please park at the end of the car park away from the Hall so that later arriving Tea party goers can park closer. If driving straight to the start, please be there by 9.05.

The walk will make good use of Fleam Dyke going into Balsham for a earlyish picnic lunch and drink in the pubs there. The walk divides into 7 and 6 miles and will be walked at the usual Sunday pace so that we arrive back in time for tea at 3.00pm.
