This 15 mile walk is led by Kay with a car share at 8.45 from Harvey Rd. The parking and start of the walk are by Thorpe Wood Golf Course car park opposite Woodman pub, Thorpe Wood, PE3 6SQ Peterborough. GR: 158981. If going straight to the start, please be there by 9.35.

From Harvey road, take A14 and A1 North. Exit at Junction 17 to Peterborough A1139 Fletton Parkway. Keep taking left lanes which emerge as you drive along A1139,but don’t exit until you come to the 3rd one for Peterborough city centre. Take the first exit to A1260, get into the middle lane (the left lane will become a slip lane soon after). After the bridge over River Nene, take the slip road to the roundabout 33, take the first exit to Thorpe Wood. In about ¼ mile, you will find Woodman pub on the left and the car park on your right. Meet near the car park exit.

We will walk through Ferry Meadows and Nene Valley to Castor Church, then continue to the village of Marholm and back via Milton Estate to Ferry Meadows.
