Starting point and parking: Layby outside Isle of Ely primary school, School Road, or as close as possible. TL542816.

The start is in a new residential development and using the postcode (CB6 2FG ) in your satnav will probably mis-direct you, so please use following instructions. If coming via A10, take B1411 exit off A10 towards Ely (North West side). Then left at roundabout along Cam Drive.Then, at first roundabout take left into Damson Avenue (lots of building developments around). Ignoring first incompleted right turn, take next right into School Road and the school is on the left.

Lunch: There will not be a pub stop, so please bring a packed lunch and
other refreshments for the day.

Distance:14.5 miles.

The route will be via Ely cathedral, Little Downham, Littleport and back
via river Great Ouse.
