This 14 mile, Figure of 8 walk, will be led by Patrick, with an 8.45 car share from Harvey Rd. The start of the walk and parking are at the
Layby in the High Street about 100 yards beyond the War Memorial coming from Arrington. If this lay-by is full, please park on the High Street before you get to the Queen Adelaide pub (to the east of it) GR 315495, post code SG8 0DN, and walk to the first lay-by to start the walk. If going straight to the start, please be there by 9.10.

The morning is approx 8+ miles to the Hatleys and then views of Hayley Wood and back to Croydon. Please bring a packed lunch, but we should be able to get a lunchtime drink in Croydon. The afternoon is 5+ miles, walking past the site of the Knights Hospitallers’ Preceptory, then Gilrags Wood and back along the Clopton Way.
