Start and parking: Great Chesterford Community Centre, Newmarket Rd, Gt Chesterford CB10 1NU. GR 505432. If coming on the A11, drive to Stumps Cross, turn Left at 1st roundabout, Right at second onto B1383 and just before you enter the village the Community centre is on your left.

Distance : 14 miles

The 8.5 mile morning takes in the village and has some good long views due to a number of uphill sections. Lunch will be in Saffron Walden so there will be opportunity to obtain refreshments. The afternoon will be  5.5 miles.
