Start and Parking: Clare Country Park,  Maltings Lane, Clare. CO10 8NW at 9.30. The car park charges £5 for over 4 hrs on a Sunday either in cash or via RINGO app. 

Distance: 14 miles

Refreshments: Please bring all refreshments for the day but it might be possible to get a drink in the pub at Belchamp St Paul. The cafe in Clare Country Park might be open when we return.

Walk details: The walk starts from Clare Country Park, heading via Houghton Hall and the Stour Valley Path to the outskirts of Cavendish. We then pass Larks in the Wood and Pentlow before having lunch in Belchamp St Paul. We return to Clare via Ovington and the Stour Valley Path.
