The next CRC hostel weekend is at the new Medway YH just outside Rochester in Kent, by Capstone Country Park. We have sole use of the 40-bed hostel for the weekend Friday February 10^th to Sunday February 12^th, (2 nights). There are many small rooms available, including 2-bedded rooms. We are planning a walk in the North Downs to the west and another to the north, close to the marshes made famous by Charles Dickens in GreatExpectations. Rochester itself features in other Dickens’ books and the cathedral and castle are both worth a visit if you have time on the Friday. The cost is £35 per person for the weekend. Although self-catering, we plan to go out to a local pub on the Saturday evening. Please contact Jill if you would like to come (01223 362881).
