Coach Weekend, Mendip Hills; (Webbington Hotel, Loxton, Somerset)

We have reserved up to 45 places (twin rooms only remaining at the original price) at the Best Western Webbington Hotel, Loxton, Somerset. Recently refurbished, the hotel is situated in extensive grounds on the southern slopes of the Mendip Hills near Crook Peak. It is well placed for longer walks to explore highlights of the Mendip scenery, along the West Mendip Way and the Limestone Link. Nearby are attractions such as Cheddar Gorge, Wells and Weston Super Mare which can also offer possibilities for day trips including shorter walks.

We plan to depart from Cambridge (CURUFC, Grange Road) on Friday morning (with a prior Ely pick-up if required), returning to Cambridge late on Sunday evening.

The total cost for 2 nights Dinner, B&B accommodation also including packed lunches, coach travel and all gratuities is £143 for a shared room. We have filled our original allocation of single rooms (£173). Additional single rooms may be reserved now but at a cost of £193. The price includes complimentary use of the hotel’s leisure centre, which includes a heated swimming pool, sauna, steam room & gym!  To reserve your place, please send a non-refundable deposit of £30 per head to David [or to Alex Andrews after 1st January], with cheques payable to Cambridge Rambling Club. The final payment will be due by 31 January.
