Bridge the Gap Charity Walk – Sunday 9th September 2012
Start times 9.30am, 10.00am & 10.30am, Jesus Green, Cambridge
The Bridge the Gap annual charity walk gives everyone the opportunity to
take a leisurely stroll through rarely seen parts of Cambridge colleges – all for
a good cause.
This year we are joined by the Olympic swimmer, Mark Foster who will join us
at the start and take part in the walk. Our 11th year looks like being as exciting
as our first!
The event starts at 0930am on Jesus Green. The route will take you through
a number of colleges, often into areas not normally accessible to the public.
This year walkers will also have the opportunity to see the Museum of
Archaeology and Anthropology. There are tourist guides on hand to talk
about the colleges and the other places of interest that you will find on the
It is not a race and is for young and old, able and not so able. Entrance for
the under 18’s is free but they do need to be accompanied by a paying adult.
Adults pay a £15 registration fee or £10 if registering before August 9th 2012.
We also ask that you help raise funds through sponsorship and donations and
there are prizes for the highest fundraiser in various categories.
