Wednesday B Morning Walks

General walk information:

BAM walks are between 5 ½ and 6 ½ miles and walked at a pace of about 3 miles/hr. We begin at 10.00 prompt (unless otherwise stated) and usually finish between 12.30-1.00 pm. For the Summer we will be offering one walk each week. Please let the leader know you are coming by sending them a text (or call). We do not stop for lunch but there is normally a short break for a drink etc.

Walk B: Barrington

Start of walk: 10.00 am

Car parking Park in Barrington Village Hall car park 55 High St, Barrington, Cambridge CB22 7QX.  A £1 donation per car will be appreciated. This is a long walk, the full 7 miles, which will take us in the direction of Orwell, then to Meldreth and back to Barrington via Shepreth. Please be aware there is a fair bit of road walking (partly because the ‘Riverside Walk’ with which many will be familiar is impassable). These are quiet country roads with verges but great care still needed. Undergrowth is already high and encroaches in parts on the pathway so shorts are not advised.
