After two years with no Summer Outing, the annual CRC coach trip is back! The Club will be visiting Southwold, a charming north Suffolk seaside town on the Heritage coast.
A, B and C walks are planned or, alternatively, the town, beach, award winning pier, lighthouse, Adnams brewery and harbour could be explored. There are also many coastal footpaths and a trip on the River Blyth is possible. There are plenty of refreshment opportunities, though a packed lunch is recommended for those on the walks.
We depart from Milton Park & Ride at 8.15 am, arriving at Southwold about 10.00am. Our return will leave Southwold at 5.30pm, arriving back at about 7.15pm.
If you would like to come please email the outing organiser, Caroline Diston, at email@example.com to reserve your place.
The cost will be £18. Please pay by bank transfer if you can – reference ‘Southwold’ – (details from Graham at firstname.lastname@example.org), or send a cheque made out to Cambridge Rambling Club to Caroline at 5 High St, Milton CB24 6AJ.
