Thanks from the Yorkshire Dales National Park

At the Club’s recent AGM it was agreed to contribute £100 to the Yorkshire Dales National Park, to help pay for repairs to rights of way after the disastrous floods in early August this year. Reeth village, parts of Swaledale and Arkengarthdale were particularly badly hit. We have now received a ‘thank you’ letter, saying that our donation will be put towards the rebuilding of an important footbridge lost in the floods – one which carries the popular Coast to Coast path over a beck near the village of Low Row in Swaledale.
