Sunday A and C walks have a Cambridge pick-up at Harvey Road, Hills Road end, unless otherwise stated. It is not possible to park here on Wednesdays or Saturdays. As transport to the start of walks is usually in members’ cars, please check the CRC website or phone the leader at least a day beforehand for details of starting place, or, if you need a lift or can offer spaces in your car.

NOTES
# – start of British Summer Time. Clocks move FORWARD 1 hour. Walks marked + will not start from Harvey Road but from the place and time stated – or contact the website or leader if not given on the programme. Pick up from Cambridge on these walks only by prior arrangement. For a lift or information on parking arrangements, please check the website or phone the leader in advance. Wednesday ‘C’ walks start with coffee and * indicates a usual maximum distance of 5 miles. Passengers travelling by car are expected to contribute towards the cost. We suggest 10p a mile. A lunch stop is often made at a public house, although not always. If making use of a pub, Club members are expected to buy a drink; own drinks MUST NOT be consumed on pub premises. Walkers who join (or leave) a walk, otherwise than at the start, must notify the leader. CP denotes car park; PH public house, GR grid reference on Ordnance Survey maps. Every care is taken in planning walks but no responsibility is accepted by Cambridge Rambling Club, its organisers and leaders, for any form of accident or liability, however caused. Participation in any event is entirely at the individual’s risk. Please check with the leader if you would like to bring a dog on a walk: the leader may refuse permission. Members’ names, addresses, telephone numbers and email addresses are held on computer by the Club. All accidents and incidents should be reported to the President, preferably in writing. The Club’s President maintains an ‘Incident Register’. Please report path problems to the relevant Highways Authority; for Cambridgeshire just Google ‘Cambridgeshire County Council rights of way’ and follow the link on ‘report a problem with a right of way’.
