Sunday A walks are generally between 13 and 16 miles, averaging 14/15 miles and are walked at around 3mph if conditions underfoot allow! The general start time is 9.30am. Car sharing is encouraged and anyone wanting to join a walk is asked to let the leader know well in advance, especially if they want or can offer a lift. Please bring all refreshments for the day. There will be a break mid-morning as well as for lunch. A lunch time stop at a pub or cafe for a drink may be possible, but cannot be counted on.
Walks are usually within 20 miles of Cambridge but can, on occasion, be up to 35 miles distant in order to visit more varied terrain, such as Thetford Forest, Hatfield Forest, the Pegsdon Hills and Suffolk wool towns.
