Starting place Trumpington Park and Ride near where the buses depart (car parking has to be paid for). We will go to Grantchester, cross the M11, cross the Barton Road, beside the firing range, up the hill (where binoculars to look at the view may be desirable), through Coton, lunch at the Garden Centre at Coton, on to the Madingley Road Park and Ride to catch the bus into the City Centre and another bus back to Trumpington. This route is estimated 6.5miles. People could drop out to do self-guided different endings (without lunch) of 4 miles, 6.5 miles or 8 miles to catch a bus (or two buses) or 5.75 miles to walk all the way back to the Trumpington P&R (directions would be provided for the alternatives) .
