This 14 mile walk, led by Patrick and Mary, has an 8.45 start from Harvey Rd. The Cambridge half marathon is being run on 8th but if car drivers turn left out of Harvey Road and use Brooklands Avenue (the route of the run is away from the centre down Trumpington Street and then across Fen Causeway ) there should be no hold ups. You can google Cambridge half marathon 2015, first entry, then select traffic info, and look at a map if you want to see run route.

The parking for the walk is in Mill Street, Ashwell with the Walk starting from opposite the Church in Mill Street, post code SG7 5LY. If going straight to the start, please be there by 9.20.

The walk will be about 9+5 miles with lots of inclines but never quite reaching 100m height. The morning will be Partridge Hill, Mitchell Hill, Bygrave, under A1(M) and along Ivel valley to Radwell (vg little church) and lunch opposite Stopford Mill, pub The Chequers just up the road. The afternoon
